Lori E. Karas is the Founder and CEO of Karas Executive Services, LLC, an executive advisory firm that helps CEOs, boards, and leadership teams close the gap between strategic intent and organizational performance.

With more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, Lori has led organizations through strategic change, operational transformation, organizational complexity, crisis, and enterprise performance improvement. Her work focuses on strategic planning, executive decision-making, organizational alignment, leadership team effectiveness, and translating strategy into measurable performance.

Lori is the creator of The Alignment Gap™ and Executive Judgment™, a growing body of intellectual work examining how strategic intent is formed, translated, and preserved as decisions move through an organization. Her work includes the Executive Judgment Quotient™ (EJQ) and Executive Judgment Operating System™ (EJOS), which extend this thinking into organizational capability and execution.

She is also an experienced speaker, executive facilitator, and podcaster, bringing practical executive experience and original thinking to conversations about leadership, strategy, organizational performance, and the realities of execution.

Beyond her professional work, Lori has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to community and civic leadership through Rotary International, where she served as District Governor for 2023–24. Her Rotary leadership has included work focused on community impact, leadership development, and service.

Lori brings a practitioner's perspective to complex organizational challenges: understanding what leadership intends, identifying what must be true for that intent to succeed, and helping organizations preserve it long enough for strategy to become reality.
